Under the guise of restyling, Russians will be offered the Chinese Geely Binyue L – this is a special version of the Binyue model, that is, Coolray. The new model differs from the regular Coolray by modified bumpers, a large “grill” of the radiator grille, as well as additional windows in the rear pillars.
The size of the virtual devices covered by the visor is now 8.8 inches instead of the previous 10.25 inches. The diagonal of the central touchscreen, on the contrary, has become larger, reaching 14.6 inches (from 12.5). It is important that the media system has switched to the new proprietary Flyme Auto operating system.
The complex of electronic driver assistance systems now meets the second level. It includes intelligent cruise control, lane keeping assist, reversing assist, plus door opening warning.
As for technology, there is nothing new here. The model still offers a four-cylinder 1.5-liter turbo engine, a 7-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.
The trim levels, prices and start of sales of the updated Geely Coolray on the Russian market will be announced later.
