Lamborghini is no exception: the General Director of the brand Stefan Vinkelmann in an interview with Autocar said that the second generation of the Bestseller crossover would not abandon the internal combustion engine.

The new generation of Lamborghini Urus will receive a connected hybrid installation, Winkelmann said, adding that customers “will be very happy to hear about it.” The premiere of the next Urus will take place around 2029. The head of the brand did not call a more accurate term.

In the meantime, Lamborghini continues to work on the current crossover and its modifications, including the hybrid version of Performante.
