The Mercedes-AMG One hypercar is a privilege for an extremely limited circle of people, which means that only a few will ever get acquainted with the fantastic bills for its maintenance. Carscoops writes about this.

An AMG One in a rare green color was recently put up for auction at RM Sotheby’s. However, it was not the body color that attracted attention, but something completely different. The hypercar has undergone scheduled maintenance (Service A) at Mercedes-AMG with a mileage of only 185 km. The bill came to a staggering $43,700 (approximately 3.2 million rubles).

According to the AMS report, the work took 80 hours – that’s two full work weeks for one person (although several mechanics were likely involved). The main reason for such a long process is access to important components, which requires disassembling a large part of the hypercar.

Even replacing simple parts requires disassembling entire sections of the body to get to the required filters. The service also includes checking high-pressure hydraulic systems, such as the active rear wing. These components operate under high pressure and require regular monitoring for leaks and malfunctions before they lead to serious breakdowns. In addition, as part of the maintenance, engine oil and small consumables, including the drain plug, are replaced.
