New brands offer cars with improved quality and at a more affordable price, which makes them more attractive for customers. Against this background, the parallel import of European models is reduced.
Director of the Department of New Cars of Rolf, Nikolai Ivanov, in an interview with Rossiy Gazeta, said that the most difficult return to Russia would be for brands such as Skoda and Volkswagen. He noted that although the market of new cars in the country was significantly sagged compared to the previous year, now it has already stabilized after the shocks of 2022. According to the expert, it will be extremely difficult for mass European brands to re -gain consumer trust and achieve the previous sales.
