TASS: sales of used cars from China have doubled in the Far East

In most cases, after registration at the port of Vladivostok, cars are sent to Moscow. TASS reports this.

“In 2025, used Chinese cars showed the fastest growth rates – their share doubled. However, even taking into account this jump, their share of total sales increased from 0.3% to 0.6%. The two Changan models chosen most often last year were Uni-T and Uni-K, as well as Geely Monjaro, Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max and Geely Tugella,” says the press service of the all-Russian automobile portal Drom.

The press service of the Fesco transport group noted that most cars from China, after registration at the port, are sent to the capital.

In addition, sales of used German cars increased by 23%, capturing 2.6% of the market. Demand for Korean cars increased by 1% – most often they were chosen by residents of Buryatia and Primorye.

Earlier, drivers were told what the Russian ban on BMW supplies from China threatens.
