Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin instructed to update the development strategy of the automotive industry, TASS writes with reference to the press service of the Cabinet. Thus, it is instructed to increase productivity, reduce the cost of machines, develop new measures to support enterprises and determine the procedure for accessing them.
Supporting measures of domestic manufacturers must be improved, Mishustin said. The conditions for admission to them should also be determined: a high actual level of product localization, the consumer properties of the car, as well as export prospects.
Profile ministries should prepare their proposals by the end of November.
The project for the development of the Russian auto industry should provide for steps to increase labor productivity.
