The characteristics of the first Avatr for the Russian market have been revealed

It will be the 11 crossover, which has received a Vehicle Type Approval (VTA) – a document allowing the car to be officially sold in the Russian Federation. The Russian office of Changan (the parent company of Avatr) revealed what the first model of the brand, whose name is pronounced “Avatr-One-One,” will be. It will be offered only with electric powertrains with up to 578 horsepower, all-wheel drive and an eight-year warranty.

Avatr 11 will be offered to Russians with a four- or five-seater interior. There will be seven body shades, including two matte, and four color combinations have been prepared for the interior.

The top version will boast one of the most capacious battery systems among cars in its class. The declared range of the version with a 116-kilowatt-hour battery is 625 kilometers on the NEDC cycle. It is important to note that this standard represents the actual range of an electric vehicle much more accurately than the CLTC cycle, which is more common in China.

There are two power plants to choose from. The single-engine version is equipped with a three-phase asynchronous electric motor with a power of 313 horsepower, mounted on the rear axle. The all-wheel drive version is complemented by a front engine producing 265 horsepower, and the total output of the dual-engine unit reaches 578 horsepower. This crossover accelerates from zero to “hundreds” in 4.5 seconds.
