In such a short time, ultra-high-speed charging provides the batteries with energy reserves from 10 to 80 percent. The developers managed to achieve such indicators thanks to the use of cutting-edge materials. In addition, engineers from the same company have created functional batteries that are already installed in the Tank 500 Hi4-Z hybrid SUVs.
The battery with an ultra-fast charging system is called Fengxing Short Blade. Experts managed to achieve energy reserves from 10 to 80 percent in 8.5 minutes by using new battery cells with state-of-the-art cathodes and anodes in the design. The developers do not say what capacity will be available for the new batteries. It is known that the energy storage density of the Fengxing Short Blade is 185 watt-hours per kilogram of mass.

The second development of Chinese engineers is a battery for hybrid SUVs that does not lose its functional properties at temperatures from minus 43 to plus 60 degrees Celsius. The first vehicle to receive such a battery with a capacity of 59 kilowatt-hours was the new super hybrid Tank 500 in the 500 Hi4-Z version, equipped with three engines, the total output of which is 864 horsepower.
In January last year, Russia created ultra-modern batteries for public transport. The developers then reported that the new batteries are superior to most world analogues.
