SAIC has officially unveiled the updated 2026 MG4 electric car. The world premiere of the model will take place at the upcoming Beijing Auto Show, Carnewschina reports.
The exterior retained the brand’s signature design, but received updated headlights, a segmented front lip and a status indicator for driver assistance systems.
The interior features new Yacht Blue and Midnight Purple finishes, music-synced ambient lighting, hidden air vents, an 8.8-inch instrument panel and a 15.6-inch 2.5K center screen.
The Doubao 3.0 AI model is integrated into multimedia, allowing you to control functions by voice. The system recognizes commands from four zones of the cabin simultaneously and controls the sunroof, air conditioning and music. The front seats received 8-point massage, ventilation and heating.
The MG4 2026 is equipped with L2+ autopilot from Horizon Robotics with automatic lane changing, lane keeping and lane changes based on turn signal signals.
Two versions are available: electric and with liquid-solid-state battery. The electric version produces 161 hp. and 250 Nm. The 42.8 and 53.9 kWh batteries provide a range of 437 and 530 km (CLTC). The version with a liquid-solid-state battery can travel 510 km. Fast charging is supported: from 30% to 80% in 18 minutes.
