Since Russian sales of Lada Aura started in December, there is no doubt: the Belarusian market will be the first abroad. The start month of Iskra sales in Russia has not been officially confirmed.

The Republic of Belarus is one of the most important markets for AvtoVAZ; for example, in 2024, 10 thousand cars were sold from neighbors, and a total of 21 thousand copies were exported. Last year, Vesta NG became the brand’s bestseller: its share in total sales is 51%.

Belarusians mainly sell Vestas in non-top configurations: the Techno version with a tablet is available only on order. As before, AvtoVAZ products are significantly cheaper in Belarus than in Russia: the price difference reaches 20 percent.

At AvtoVAZ, Iran is considered the most promising export market. The Russian company also intends to enter the markets of Cuba, the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Serbia, Yemen and Vietnam. Last year, a Lada assembly site was launched in Azerbaijan, which will reduce sanctions risks.
