The new product has a series-parallel hybrid installation. It is based on a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine producing 112 hp. (136 Nm), which can rotate the front wheels through a single-speed E-DHT transmission. The main motor is electric, with an output of 238 hp. and 262 Nm.
The Geely Galaxy M7 is based on the GEA Evo Global architecture. The length of the new product is 4770 mm, width – 1905 mm, height – 1685 mm with a wheelbase of 2785 mm. Thus, the Chinese crossover can be considered a classmate of the Toyota RAV4.
Using pure electric power, the hybrid can cover up to 225 km (on the CLTC cycle) and consume 3.35 liters of gasoline per 100 km. The total range reaches 1730 km. It takes 15 minutes to recharge the 29.8-kilowatt battery (from 30% to 80%).
The basic version includes adaptive shock absorbers, an advanced set of driver assistants, a panoramic roof and a 14.6-inch diagonal central touchscreen. The cost of this option on the Chinese market will be 120 thousand yuan, that is, 1.3 million rubles.
