The concept SUV received the prefix Mountain Intervention Vehicle, and you can see it live at the AMERON Davos Swiss Mountain Resort, where the next meeting of the World Economic Forum is taking place.

Genesis has made a habit of showing off new concepts in places other than Davos, Switzerland, home of the annual World Economic Forum meetings. Two years ago, the Koreans brought the Genesis X Concept prototype to the canton of Graubünden, and in 2024 – the X Snow Speedium. This year, guests at AMERON Davos Swiss Mountain Resort will be able to see the GV60 Mountain Intervention Vehicle, or MIV.

Genesis Genesis

It is positioned as an electric vehicle for performing rescue operations in difficult terrain and bad weather. MIV is based on the serial GV60 and instead of wheels it is equipped with snow trucks, because the resort is a ski resort. The body and passengers are protected by carbon fiber arch extensions, inside there is a first aid kit, communications equipment, and for something larger there are roof racks and racks on the stern. The advantages of this concept include environmental safety and the ability to use the machine as a generator (via V2L).

The Genesis GV60 can be rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. In the first case, the output is 228 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, in the second – 318 horsepower/605 Nm or 435/605 Nm if we are talking about the Performance version. The concept will most likely have dual-motor all-wheel drive.

We are waiting on the roads: fresh concepts
