Chinese JAC cars lose in price from 800 thousand to 1 million rubles after two or three years of operation. Analysts from the financial marketplace Compare came to this conclusion after studying prices for used cars manufactured in 2023–2024 with a mileage of about 50–60 thousand kilometers.
The JAC T8 mid-size pickup truck has the worst resale experience. On the secondary market you can buy it from 2 million rubles, the loss is about 1 million rubles. The JAC J7 liftback (resale price – 1.18–1.65 million, loss – 800 thousand) and the JAC T9 pickup truck (petrol versions in 2024 cost from 2.7 million, loss – 788 thousand) have similar indicators.
Over the course of several years, the JAC JS6 crossover has become cheaper by about 730 thousand rubles, the JAC T8 Pro pickup truck has fallen in price by 650 thousand, and the JAC JS3 SUV has fallen in price by 640 thousand rubles.
Compare analysts note that the price drop depends on the model, body type and popularity in the market, but on average the loss in value remains noticeable. Crossovers look more stable, while pickups and liftbacks are falling in price more due to weak aftermarket demand.
