The most powerful GAC S7 will appear in Russia in early February

A week before the Russian premiere of the GAC S7 crossover, scheduled for February 4, its technical characteristics became known. As Avto.ru Magazine found out, the model will receive a hybrid power plant. It is based on two electric motors with a total power of 340 horsepower and a 156-horsepower 1.5-liter gasoline engine.

For the Russian market, the GAC S7 will be equipped with a traction battery with a capacity of 36.3 kilowatt-hours. According to the NEDC cycle, its charge will be enough for 153 kilometers of travel exclusively on electric power.

The total range of the hybrid is stated at 867 kilometers, and fuel consumption in the combined cycle will be 7 liters per 100 km. The battery can be charged from 30% to 80% in 18 minutes. The gasoline engine is designed for AI-92 fuel and higher, and the fuel tank capacity is 50 liters.

The dimensions of the new crossover, which looks like a Range Rover, are 4900 mm in length, 1950 mm in width and 1780 mm in height. The wheelbase is 2880 mm.

The GAC S7 has a five-seater interior. Trunk volume varies from 720 to 2335 liters.
