The new generation Hyundai Elantra will radically change its image and become larger

It is expected that the official premiere of the new product, known under the internal index CN8, will take place in the coming months, and it will appear on the market by the beginning of 2027. The car will receive a completely new design and modern technology. In addition, the car will increase in size.

In contrast to the chopped lines and sharp edges of the current model, the new Elantra will take on a more mature and futuristic look. There will be no less significant changes in the cabin. Instead of dual screens, the new PLEOS Connect system based on Android Automotive OS with Gleo AI voice assistant will debut.

Hyundai Elantra will retain a number of physical control buttons. The dimensions of the car will increase: the length will be 4765 mm, the width will be 1855 mm, and the wheelbase will increase to 2750 mm, which promises more space for passengers.

The engine range will likely be shared with the Kia K4. It will include a hybrid version based on a 1.6-liter engine, as well as naturally aspirated and turbocharged gasoline engines with power from 147 to 200 hp. A “charged” version of N is also being prepared: with a 2.5-liter turbo engine producing over 300 horsepower, but without a manual gearbox.

Thus, the new Elantra sedan should seriously compete with the Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic and other classmates, betting not only on price, but also on a more mature image and advanced technology.
