Rolls-Royce has custom-made a special version of the long-wheelbase Phantom sedan, called the Regatta. The new product is dedicated to sailing regattas, which are held on the south coast of Great Britain. It is not specified who ordered the car.
The lower part of the body is painted with a specially created blue enamel, and the lower part is highlighted with white paint – this scheme is intended to resemble the paint job of yachts. However, Russian commentators think differently: “Everything is great, except for the white rear bumper: as if there was film left over from a taxi.”
The front has a dark interior and the rear has a light interior finish. On the left side of the front panel there is a wooden trim decorated with a hand-painted picture: “They just painted the wood with blue paint,” the Russians criticized the design.

As the brand’s press service clarifies, the design of each of the two folding tables for rear passengers required 16 walnut dies, separated by strips of ebony. The designers’ goal was to replicate the design of yacht decks.
In terms of technology, the Rolls-Royce Phantom Regatta repeats the standard car. Under the hood of the special version lies a 6.75-liter biturbo V12 that produces 571 hp. and 900 Nm. With it, the “land yacht” accelerates to “hundreds” in 5.3 seconds.
