So, ID.ROC and id.golf will not be presented in this decade due to the financial problems of the concern.

If you believe insiders, at least two “green” Volkswagen models will be presented with a delay. The fault of this is production difficulties, a decrease in demand and growing expenses. Both ID.ROC and id.golf are debut no earlier than 2030.

Last year, it was reported that Volkswagen was going to transfer Golf from Wolfsburg to Mexico to free up the place for electric vehicles on the SSP platform, including ID.ROC. The transfer was planned to be completed by 2027, but there were problems here. As a result, new production in Wolfsburg can start only in 2028.
