The Kaliningrad Avtotor plant has begun preparations for the production of the Jetour T1 and Jetour T2 crossovers. The models will be made using a full cycle method with welding, painting and assembly. To organize the process, the company will install a new robotic welding line.
Jetour is popular among Russians. At the end of March, the Chinese brand ranks eighth among the most popular brands on the Russian market. In the first month of spring, 2.6 thousand cars were sold, which is more than the result of Jaecoo and Solaris.
The T2 model is the older model, and the sister SUV T1 is a step below: both are used. stable demand, and localization should make cars more accessible. In addition, Jetour Dashing and X70Plus, as well as Soueast S06 and S07 are made in Kaliningrad.
