In Ulyanovsk, they began to produce passive safety system components: steering wheels, airbags, and control units. The Security System Components (CSC) enterprise has organized a full production cycle of components, clarifies the press service of the Sollers group that owns the CSC.

The company has foam filling lines for the production of steering wheels, as well as sections for cutting, sewing and assembling airbags. Separate posts are engaged in sewing braids and covering steering wheels.

In addition, the authors of the project organized a testing laboratory to conduct validation and serial tests of all products and created a production facility for the manufacture of various control units.

It is clarified that the total investment in the project amounted to 1.5 billion rubles, of which 1.2 billion rubles were provided by the Federal Investment Fund in the form of a preferential loan. The products will be equipped with Sollers and UAZ cars.
