The updated Toyota Yaris Cross crossover has lost its mustache and received a honeycomb grille

The model, which became the best-selling compact SUV in Europe in 2025 (200 thousand cars sold), has received a restyling, Carscoops reports.

The main thing is the front part: instead of the previous radiator grille, which looked like a mustache, there is a honeycomb grille in body color, like the Corolla Cross and RAV4. The side air intakes of the bumper have disappeared, and aluminum protection has appeared at the bottom.

The headlights received “hammer” light graphics with built-in DRLs. Precious Bronze has been added (available in two-tone), and Shimmering Silver has been replaced with Persian Salt. New wheels up to 18 inches have appeared.

There are fewer changes in the interior: the screens remained the same (12.3 and 10.5 inches), but platinum decor appeared on the doors and dashboard. All versions received automatically folding mirrors. Design and higher added interior lighting and wireless charging. An electric trunk lid is available for the Excel. The GR Sport gets suede seats with red stitching and GR emblems.

The safety system now includes parking brake assist. In Europe and the UK, the Yaris Cross is offered exclusively with hybrid power plants with a capacity of 116-130 hp; the drive can be front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
