The Volga K40 crossover based on the Geely Atlas began to be certified in Belarus

As Chinese Cars found out, the model has currently received three certificates of conformity, which are necessary to obtain a vehicle type approval (VTA).

Earlier, the head of the Volga brand, Tatyana Fadeeva, reported that the Nizhny Novgorod automaker has export ambitions. Perhaps the first foreign market for the new model will be Belarus. However, it is possible that certification in the republic may turn out to be a formality.

Prior to this, the Volga brand received OTTS for its first model K50. Displaying the type of vehicle (OTTS) allows you to open car sales. From the document itself it is known that the model will be equipped with a two-liter turbo engine with an output of 238 horsepower, a classic 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
