Toyota sets a sales record for 2025

Toyota has published data on global car sales for 2025. Thus, dealers handed over 11.3 million cars of all brands to customers, including Toyota, Lexus, Daihatsu and Hino. Let us clarify that trucks and buses are available to consumers under the Hino brand.

The current result is 4.6% more than the 2024 figure, simultaneously being a new record for Toyota – the current results guaranteed the company the sixth consecutive title of the world’s most massive automaker.

Meanwhile, imports of new Toyota cars in Russia increased by 40%. In total, 127.8 thousand Japanese brand cars were imported into our country in 2025 – both new and used.

The largest number of Toyota cars arrived in Russia used. Right-hand drive cars accounted for 5% of new and 83% of used Toyotas.
