Transtoll, a subsidiary of the VIS group and operator of the Mytishchenskaya Expressway, denied information about the introduction of tolls. On the eve of the fact that the road will become tolled on January 22, [сообщала](https://mosreg.ru/sobytiya/novosti/organy/ministerstvo-transporta/proezd-po-mytishinskoi-khorde-stanet-platnym-s-22-yanvarya) press service of the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure of the Moscow Region. Transtall notes that travel is still free, and drivers will not be fined for non-payment.
The test mode continues to operate on the highway, according to the website of the operating company of the Mytishchi Expressway. Transtall promises to inform additionally about the introduction of the fee. Information will appear on the website, as well as on information boards on the northern alternate route of the Moscow Ring Road.
Construction of the Mytishchenskaya Chord began in 2018. The movement was launched on December 17 last year, and since then about 400 thousand cars have driven along the highway. Travel is free for now, but in the future the barrier-free system “Free Flow” will be implemented on the road: tolls will be collected automatically, without toll booths with barriers.
