The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant and Sollers will be idle due to annual leave from July 28 to August 4, TASS writes with reference to the Sollers press service. During this time, enterprises will conduct maintenance of equipment, as well as “implement events within the framework of investment projects”.
Also, during the vacation, which will last only a week, the UAZ and Sollers factories will continue to ship cars to dealers. Production on sites will resume according to plan, August 4.
In the first half of 2025, the UAZ sold 9.8 thousand cars – by 35 percent less than in the same period of 2024. The most popular model remains a “loaf”, at which 4.1 thousand people were chosen. But its popularity fell by 34 percent. Behind the Family of the SGR go “patriot” (2.6 thousand) and “pro” (1.6 thousand).
