UAZs equipped with the ABS development system by us. The domestic device of active security is now placed on three UAZ models – “Patriot”, “Pickup” and “Prof”. It was developed in the “Innovative Components” – “Daughter” by FSUE by us – for SUVs and light commercial vehicles weighing no more than 4.5 tons. Until 2022, ABS was supplied by the German Bosch, and after the introduction of sanctions – a Chinese company [APG](https://motor.ru/news/uaz-patriot-bs-06-03-2023.htm).

The specialists of us and the Ulyanovsk plant jointly calibrated the device and adapted the firmware to UAZ SUVs. ABS was tested during the year, experiencing work on roads with different coverage – on dry and wet asphalt, wet basalt, on ice and snow.

They also conducted tests with various clutch of the right and left wheels, when, for example, the right were on dry asphalt, the left on ice.

The anti -lock system was developed with the support of the Industry Development Fund and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. It is noted that this is a know-how FSUE by us, the production of which is established at the capacities of the UAZ.
