According to Ukravtoprom, in five months of the year crossovers occupied 81% of the market, and the leader among all new cars was Renault Duster.
“This is not the first time that crossovers are leading the Ukrainian market for new passenger cars. According to Ukravtoprom, this year they occupied 81% of the new car market,” the publication says.
Based on the results of five months, the Ukrainian market has identified the sales leaders among SUVs in each class. In the mini-SUV segment, the Toyota Yaris Cross has become the most popular. Among compact crossovers, Renault Duster took first place. The leader in the mid-size class is the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, and the Volkswagen Touareg in the full-size class. In the premium segment, Land Rover Range Rover is recognized as the best.
