Volkswagen presented a crossover with a panoramic roof and a bed

Volkswagen has officially shown the interior of the new electric crossover ID. Unyx 08. The model, first presented in December, was equipped with an 800V high-voltage platform – this is the first use of such an architecture in the ID.Unyx line. The start of sales is scheduled for the first quarter of 2026. CarNewsChina reports this.

Inside the ID. Unyx 08 uses an ergonomic driver-centric architecture. The instrument cluster includes a 10.25-inch LCD screen and two integrated 14.96-inch displays with 2.4K resolution, providing access to navigation, telemetry and assistance systems. The two-spoke steering wheel features traditional physical controls.

All chairs are ID. Unyx 08 is trimmed with Nappa leather. The driver’s seat is heated, ventilated and massaged. The front passenger seat has 14-position power adjustment, an electric footrest and can recline 120°, turning the cabin into a “large bed.” Rear passengers have access to electric backrest adjustment (10°) and folding tables.

The cabin has a panoramic roof with an area of ​​1.74 m². It features a smart dimming system with 10 levels of adjustment, allowing you to switch between clear and matte states.

ID.Unyx 08 will be offered in two versions: rear-wheel drive with one engine (230 kW / 308 hp) and all-wheel drive with two engines. In the top version, the front unit produces 140 kW (188 hp), the rear unit produces 230 kW (308 hp).
