In the next generation, which is expected in 2026, the model will have a completely different body – this information to the French publication L’argus was confirmed by Santo Fichili, the new general director of Alfa Romeo. According to the top manager, who also heads Maserati, Giulia moves to the platform on which Stelvio is built, “so you can imagine what a car it will be,” he added. CarsCoops suggests that this is a fastback-cross-breed.

Apparently, after the change of generation, Giulia will become larger and higher, and the features will resemble new models of other brands included, like Alfa Romeo, in the STELLANTIS concern, namely DS No8, Peugeot 408, Citroen C5 X and the coming Lancia Gamma. The mentioned Stelvio platform, which will “move” Giulia, are the architecture of Stla Large, designed for cars with ICEs, hybrid and fully electric power plants.

As for the design, one thing is already known for sure: in all new models, including Giulia, Alfa Romeo will refuse to locate a license plate on the side of pedestrians’ safety requirements. This was previously stated by the chief designer of the Italian brand Alejandro Mesonero-Moro. It is also expected to update the cult radiator lattice of Scudetto and a change in the light signature of the rear lights – it will repeat the shape of this lattice.

The schedule of the emergence of new models Alfa Romeo Alfa Romeo will revise the electrification strategy after the statement by Trump Alfa Romeo showed a mysterious video with lanterns of an unknown car

CARSCOOPS reads the new generation GIULIA, an ultramodern interior with an improved information and entertainment system, which will use artificial intelligence technology, as well as an expanded ADAS security system.

As for the new Alfa Romeo Stelvio, it will become the first European model on the Stla Large platform – it also underlies the American Dodge Charger. In a conversation with journalists, Santo Fichili said that “today the new Stelvio is planned only for 100 percent electrical, but hybrid versions are also in development.”

The production of new Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio is organized at a factory in Kassino in Italy. The first stelvio specimens will come from the assembly line in July, and the start of sales will take place closer to the end of the same year. Well, the Giulia crossover debuts in 2026.
