Also, at the Gorky Automobile Plant, they clarified that welded points are located exactly where it is necessary according to the project, and the floor panels are welded with an accuracy of 0.2 millimeters. The enamel is really not applied to the internal elements of the body panels, since there is no risk of rust in these parts of the body. However, they do this “all over the world.”
There are no unprotected sections of the Sobol NN, because in the process of color it passes cataphorageous priming: it is completely immersed in 13 baths with special liquids and primary soil. As for the technological windows in the back, they are needed so that the soil has entered all hidden cavities. Before painting, the holes are closed not with tape, but with a special incompatible plastic sealant “Herband C”. Its dismantling during operation is not provided.
STT believes that the removable plastic “TV” with radiators in the event of an accident will be cheaper than a traditional steel weld frame. The plastic structure is more elastic, so it can withstand shocks. If, in the event of an accident, the frame breaks, it can be replaced assembled without welding and tin.
Finally, STT did not agree that it is impossible to drive on the highway on the “NN Sobole”. In terms of controllability, the novelty “corresponds to a light SUV”, and a height of 2.5 meters is not a record by standards of class: many imported low-tonnage vans have a larger height-up to 2.7-2.8 meters.
