The project, built by St. Petersburg resident Sergei Nikiforov, is based on the Lada Vesta SW Cross station wagon, equipped with a 1.8 Evo engine producing 122 hp. and a standard Chinese variator. But, as Autoreview clarifies, an electric motor from a Nissan Leaf with a power of 110 hp is installed at the rear. (250 Nm).

A traction battery with a voltage of 400 volts and a capacity of 8.7 kWh is used from the hybrid version of the Mercedes-Benz GLE crossover, and the rear wheel drives are from a smart city car.

To coordinate the operation of the gasoline and electric motors, the author of the project assembled a separate control unit. If the rotation speed of the rear wheels is 15% higher than the front wheels, the program limits the output of the electric motor.

As measurements have shown, acceleration to “hundreds” takes 6.7 seconds. For comparison, the standard version accelerates to 100 km/h in 12.7 seconds. On pure electricity, the dual-engine all-wheel drive Lada Vesta can travel up to 40 km.
