The first GAC sedan in a local model line is offered in two levels of execution, the base GS and the expanded GL (S-style). So far, the company has declassified only the price of the second configuration – from 2,899,000 rubles, taking into account discounts. The initial GS, respectively, will be even cheaper, which means that the cost of the novelty is within three million rubles. For comparison: the nearest competitor Empow – Chery Arrizo 8, can be bought with discounts for 2,680,000 rubles.
Regardless of the configuration, GAC Empow will be offered in Russia in the only modification with a 1.5-liter engine with a capacity of 170 horsepower in a conjunction with a seven-speed “robot”. Acceleration from a place up to 100 kilometers per hour at such a sedan takes less than seven seconds, and fuel consumption in a mixed cycle is 5.7 liters.

The model is standardly equipped with a completely LED optics, air conditioning, non -clock access, two frontal airbags and a multimedia system with a 10.25 -inch touch screen. At the initial level of the diagonal of the digital panel of the devices, there are seven inches, there are electric windows, adjusting the driver’s seat in six directions, rear parking sensors, a dynamic stabilization system, a parking brake with the Autohold function, tire pressure sensors, a folding back of the rear sofa, immobilizer and an anti -angle system.
GL sports performance is characterized by 18-inch wheels with low-profile tires (225/45 R18) and an aerodynamic body kit. In addition, such a sedan has an exhaust system with adjustable volume, and sports settings have a motor, box and steering. The diagonal of the dashboard is increased to 10.25 inches, the interior decoration uses eco-leather, a two-zone climate control is provided, the Yamaha audio system with eight speakers and the atmospheric lighting of the salon.
In addition to the mentioned Chery Arrizo 8, the novelties include Geely Emgrand and Changan UNI-V in competitors. “Emmrand” costs from 1,889,990 to 2,663,990 rubles, taking into account discounts, and UNI-V-from 2 2 719 900 to 2,859,900 rubles.
