Favorite pickups of Russians in 2025: Rating was compiled

The Avtostat agency publishes a report on the sales of new pickups in Russia for the first quarter of this year. In the first three months, the Russians bought 5276 pickups, which is only nine percent less than in the same period of 2024-which means that the pickup segment feels quite confident against the background of the entire market, which in the first quarter “sank” 25 percent.

The rating of their favorite pickups of Russians is headed by the Chinese brand JAC, which was almost a quarter (24 percent) of sales in the segment. JAC completed the quarter with a result of 1268 pickups sold, showing an increase of 60 percent to the January-Marot 2024 indicator. Autostat notes that last year the JAC brand was only the third in sales in the segment.

On the second line, another Chinese brand is Great Wall. This brand realized 805 pickups in three months, which corresponds to a fall by 58 percent. The three leaders also got the domestic Sollers brand with a result of 690 pickups sold (+92 percent). In fourth place, the quarter was completed by the Russian UAZ (681 pcs.; -32 percent), and on the fifth -Chinese Foton (569 pcs.; Growth of 6.2 times).

In the rating on position models, they were distributed as follows: on the first JAC T9 (864 pcs.), On the second Sollers ST6 (690 pcs.), On the third UAZ “Pikap” (681 pcs.), On the fourth Foton Tunland (567 pcs.), And on the fifth Great Wall Poer (559 pcs.).
