The first images of the updated flagship Hyundai Grandeur sedan reveal subtle changes to the exterior and a completely redesigned interior. The car is intended for the Korean market. Carscoops reports this.

In November 2022, the Hyundai Grandeur (known as the Azera in the US and Canada) debuted its seventh generation. Shortly thereafter, the company exited this segment in the North American market. In Korea, the model remains the leader among sedans and ranks second in sales among all cars, behind only the Sorento. Despite the success, Hyundai felt that the car needed a major update.

The “shark nose” – the most noticeable element of the updated Grandeur – now looks more laconic. In addition, the full-width LED strip has become thinner, the headlights have become more compact, and the radiator grille and air intakes form a single chrome section.

The centerpiece of the cabin is a 17-inch touchscreen, which replaces both the previous 12.3-inch multimedia display and a separate 10.25-inch climate control panel. The screen runs on the new Hyundai Pleos Connect Android platform. The digital instrument panel has become thinner and moved further to the front panel.
