The corresponding order of the country’s Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources has come into force, as follows from the data of the information and legal system of regulatory legal acts of the republic, which were analyzed by TASS.

“According to the text of the order, it came into force 30 days after the first official publication. The document was posted in the database on April 6. According to the Kazakh information system “Paragraph”, it came into force on May 7, which was a day off in Kazakhstan (Defender of the Fatherland Day was celebrated). Thus, the document actually came into effect on May 8,” TASS reports.

For passenger cars with engines from 1 to 2 liters. the increase factor was 136, which gives the amount collected about 29.4 million tenge (more than 4.7 million rubles at the exchange rate at the time of publication) – more expensive than any new Russian car with such an engine.

For cars from the Russian Federation and Belarus with an engine up to 1 liter, the recycling coefficient is set at 22, and for cars with a volume of over 3 liters – 246. Electric cars from all countries except Russia and Belarus have a zero coefficient, while for the Russian Federation and Belarus it is 60.

The Ministry of Industry and Construction of Kazakhstan called the measures mirror measures in response to the increase in recycling collection in Russia. The changes do not apply to the Kazakh assembly of Lada, GAZ and KamAZ. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation stated that they are not working on response measures.
