All assembled cars will be transferred to various divisions of AvtoVAZ for testing, so there is no information about the start of sales yet. In general, they were supposed to start this month, and Niva Sport was estimated at 2-2.5 million rubles.
AvtoVAZ subsidiary Lada Sport LLC has begun assembling Lada Niva Sport SUVs. The painted bodies are brought here straight from the factory, and Lada Sport specialists are responsible for the individual assembly of each vehicle. All cars currently produced are intended for testing. They promise to provide information about delivery times to the dealer network, as well as prices and configurations later.

The Niva Sport SUV differs from the regular Niva Legend in the settings of the suspension and brakes, as well as the engine – a 16-valve 1.6 unit from Granta Sport, the output of which has been increased to 122 horsepower and 151 Nm of torque. The transmission uses a manual gearbox with reinforced fifth gear gears and a clutch housing, plus a transfer case with a single-lever drive. In addition, the contrasting black and red color scheme of the interior has become characteristic of the Niva Sport.
The all-terrain sports vehicle will presumably cost around 2-2.5 million rubles, and will most likely go on sale next year. For comparison: prices for a regular Niva Legend range from 981 thousand to 1.16 million, but its engine is weaker, and the structural difference between the two cars is also big.
