As the company told the Auto Mail project, after-sales service functions have been transferred to Votour Motor Rus LLC, which manages the Jetour brand.

At the same time, all warranty obligations to customers who purchased cars from official Kaiyi dealers remain intact – this applies to both maintenance and repairs.

Kaiyi dealerships are now renewing service agreements with Votur Motor Rus and continue to provide support, including the supply of spare parts.

Last year it became known that Kaiyi was preparing to curtail production at the Kaliningrad Avtotor and the supply of vehicle kits to the Russian Federation. The reason given was the insufficiently high consumer qualities of the brand’s models.

It was also reported that in 2024, BAIC and Kaiyi collectively brought Avtotor about 4.3 billion rubles in losses. In the spring of 2025, Kaiyi distributors introduced discounts of up to 200-600 thousand rubles, and large dealer holdings, including Rolf, began to refuse sales of brand cars.
