The power of the electric coupe-crossover is expected to exceed 1000 hp. In the coming years, the Mercedes-AMG division will present three specialized electric vehicles based on its own AMG.EA architecture. The head of AMG, Michael Schiebe, said that in addition to the sedan and crossover, there will also be a coupe-crossover in the model line.
This model should debut towards the end of 2027. From a technical point of view, it is expected that the new car will be almost identical to the base crossover, but will feature a more streamlined roofline.
Like other models in the AMG series. EA, including the all-electric four-door AMG GT, the new crossover coupe will be powered by three powerful Yasa electric motors. The version with three engines is expected to produce up to 1341 hp, which will allow it to easily compete with hypercars equipped with internal combustion engines.
