At the IDEX International Defense Exhibition in Abu Dabi will be presented by special versions of AROCS and Zetros from the SPECIAL TRUCKS unit. These are three -axle trucks with a 6×6 wheel formula and gable rear axles. The main task is the transportation of semi -trailers with heavy armored vehicles or the evacuation of cars using a winch. The new Mercedes-Benz does not have ballistic protection.

The most recognizable product of the defense unit Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks is Unimog, but now the gamma has been replenished with three-axle AROCS boobies. The wheelbase is stretched to 4.2 meters, the permissible mass of the truck increased to 40 tons, and the total mass of the road train to 250 tons. The novelty differs from civilian tractors with a hatch in the roof, a pressure control system in tires, headlights with darning and livery.
Daimler Trucks
Under the hood of a 12.8-liter six-cylinder diesel OM 460 in the forcing version of 421 horsepower. The traction is transmitted through a 12-speed “robot” with manual mode. Also at the exhibition they will show the hood tractor Mercedes-Benz Zetros: it develops 510 horsepower and is able to load 50-ton special vehicles onto the platform. A sleeping bag is provided for the crew in the cabin, but the armor is not provided.
