For example, fashionable turn signals in the rear-view mirrors disappeared: even in the top complexing there were wings of the old-sample with holes under the turning indicator. But in the series, LED headlights are waiting.

The Niva Legend test gasoline is different from the E-Niva prototype as a number of details. The zones near the fog heads are made of unpainted plastic, there are no “aerodynamic” disks with a directed pattern, and the overlays on the wheels are made in color. However, the general concept is unchanged: AvtoVAZ will change the anterior mask to the SUV and switch to LED optics.

Important innovations will be under the hood. The head of the auto giant Maxim Sokolov promised that in the second half of the Niva they said goodbye to the engine from the Lada. A 8-valve engine with a volume of 1.8 liters from front-wheel drive models LADA will be replaced. Unregulated hub bearings are also expected, and in the future, the transition to electronic architecture from Vesta.

By the end of the year, the upgrade is waiting for the classic Niva Legend: the SUV will also be transferred to 1.8 liter engines, modernize the transmission and security systems. Also in the plans of AvtoVAZ to launch the Niva Sport series, but with another engine – along with the “atmospheric” 1.6 under the hood, a forced engine 1.8 will appear close to Vesta Sport.
