According to analysts, in the 1st quarter of 2026, among used cars, the most popular brands were Lada, Toyota, Kia, Hyundai, Volkswagen, Nissan, Honda, Ford, BMW and Mazda. At the same time, the largest share in the overall top was occupied by cars of Japanese brands (30%), followed by German (18%), Korean (16%), Russian (11%) and American (8%).

In terms of models in the used segment, the leaders are Lada Granta, Kia Rio, Hyundai Solaris, Lada Vesta, Ford Focus, Toyota Camry, Volkswagen Polo, Skoda Octavia, Kia Ceed and Nissan Qashqai, reported experts from the Sber ecosystem for motorists and SberInsurance.

In the new car category, more than half of online sales come from Russian brands, Chinese brands accounted for 36%.

Top 5 new brands by online sales: Lada, Tenet, Geely, Haval and Jetour. And the top ten most popular new models included Lada Granta, Lada Niva, Lada Iskra, Tenet T4, Lada Vesta, Geely Monjaro, Lada Largus, Tenet T7, Haval Jolion and Jetour Dashing.

In addition to Moscow, new cars are most often purchased via the Internet in the Samara region, Perm and Krasnodar territories, Nizhny Novgorod region and St. Petersburg.
