Brothers Andreas and Florian Bovensipen, who own the Alpina Burkard Bovensiepen brand, showed a new brand. Starting January 1, 2026, Alpina will turn into a luxurious BMW sub -brand, but Bovensipenes are not going to leave the car business. Therefore, they founded their own brand Bovensiepen Automobile, enlisted the support of the Zagato design studio. The first project is already there.

From now on in Bukloe, Bovensiepen cars will be produced, which are formally in no way connected with BMW. There are no more logos of the brand, the design is radically redone: this is the merit of Zagato. However, some continuity remained: on the front bumper over the splitter with words, the name of the company, the Bovensiepen label is designed in the same style and the same color scheme as Alpina, and also discs: also multi-spoke, but with an original design.

Of course, the alteration of all body panels and lighting equipment will be not cheap, so Bovensiepen will move from the AMG price segment to the luxury category. However, even Zagato failed to completely break off the connection with the source: the profile of the BMW 4-Series compartment is obvious, and the interference of the salon was limited to the replacement of finishing materials, the addition of decor and visor above the front panel.
It is curious that although the firstborn of Bovensiepen is the compartment, the basis was the convertible: this allowed to abandon the central racks of the roof and preserve the rear windows. The new body kit led to an increase in overall length by 17.5 centimeters, the body panels are made of carbon fiber. The gasoline engine with a volume of 3.0 liters is forced to 611 horsepower and 700 nm: all the Emki remains behind!

Probably the basis was the BMW M440i version, but this is not directly said. The equipped mass remained at the same level (1895 kg), the acceleration time of 0-100 decreased to 3.3 seconds, and the maximum speed increased to 300 km/h.
