Kenworth W900 truck tractors have been produced from the beginning of the 1960s and belong to a heavy class. The caps of the Paccar concern formed the image of an American truck and starred in dozens of cult films. Over six decades, the line of nine -hundred and nine -hundred and the line has repeatedly modernized, but the concept with a long hood, bred with exhaust pipes and a huge cabin with a sleeping bag and an abundance of chromium, is unchanged.

Kenworth promises to “honor the spirit of legendary trucks”, and the receiving orders on the W900 will be terminated later in 2025. The official reason for the resignation is to change the standards of emissions, as well as the transition of the industry to more effective components with a greater degree of unification. Kevin Haygud admitted that the W900 “helped to form the North American culture of cargo transportation in the form that is today.”

The successor of the W900 was the Kenworth W990 capture of 2018. The Paccar concern will also get rid of other veterans: the conveyor will leave the T800 construction trucks (produced since 1986) and a special C500 line for off -road (produced since 1972). More modern models have long been in service, but outdated trucks were in sustainable demand, so they were in no hurry to abandon them.
