The full production cycle, in addition to the assembly directly, includes welding and coloring. To do this, at the Ulyanovsk plant, a 130-meter welding line and the chassis line were put into operation, as well as modernized paint and assembly production. The ST6 and ST8 body are collected on the same conveyor as the UAZs, and the final assembly occurs on the new production line mounted specifically for Sollers models.
ST6 has been presented on the Russian market for more than a year. At first, the model was assembled at the facilities of the Sollers plant in Vladivostok, where Mazda cars were previously produced, but at the end of the summer of 2024, production was transferred to Ulyanovsk. ST6 is a localized JAC T6. The Russian pickup is equipped with a 36 -horsepower two -liter diesel engine, which works with a six -speed “mechanics” of domestic production. The alternative is a bunch of a gasoline engine with a volume of 2.0 liters (176 forces).
