Aurus Senat sedans will look like Vladimir Putin’s limousine

Since 2024, the Russian President has been using a restyled version of the Aurus Senat armored limousine. But sedans – standard and extended, as well as armored versions of both – continued to be produced in pre-reform versions. In the near future, “younger” modifications will also undergo restyling.

In Yelabuga, where Aurus cars are mass-produced, a major modernization is currently underway, which is why the work of the plant has been stopped. After the production capacity is updated, the production of restyled “Senates” will begin.

“Currently, work is underway at the Aurus production site in Yelabuga to modernize production operations in accordance with the industrialization schedule, including preparations for the release of an updated model,” the brand’s press service clarifies.

Let us clarify that the updated Aurus Senat is significantly different from its predecessor model. It has a redesigned exterior as well as a completely new interior. The suspension features pneumatic elements and adaptive shock absorbers.

Previously, experts removed the question about the characteristics of Putin’s new limousine. In May 2024, the modernized Aurus Senat debuted. As we now know, the car has become significantly heavier.
