Auto expert Rogov named five crossovers that are most often imported from China

These are mainly mass-produced cars of Japanese and German brands aged 3-5 years with engines up to 160 hp. Such parameters allow you to use a preferential coefficient when calculating the recycling fee.

“Mazda CX-5 crossovers are now being imported to Russia from China by a large margin. These are both new cars and used ones. The secret is that this is a Japanese brand, the car has a classic appearance, a naturally aspirated engine and an automatic transmission. The fact that it is made in China, with front-wheel drive and outdated technology does not bother anyone. A car without mileage with a 2.0-liter engine can be found for 2.7-3.3 million rubles,” Dmitry Rogov, founder of the RogovMobil company, told Motor magazine.

In addition, Russians are ordering the BMW X1. This summer the car will become a drive-through vehicle. A car with a 1.5-liter turbo engine producing 156 hp. and front-wheel drive will cost 3.3 million rubles, the expert noted.

Another popular model is the new Nissan Qashqai. A car with a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine in a top-end configuration costs 2.4 million rubles. The list of the most popular crossovers that can be imported from China also includes the Audi Q3 (from 3.3 million rubles).

The only SUV of the Chinese brand in the top five is the Jetta VS5. The car is built on components used in Volkswagen: 1.4 engine, 6-speed automatic transmission Aisin. The units are well-known, so they can be serviced at any service center. The price of the car is from 2 million rubles.
