BMW introduced the M3 CS Touring station wagon. It is more powerful and noticeably more expensive than a simple M3 Competition Touring M XDRive, although only one tenth of a second wins to accelerate to 100 kilometers per hour. CS weighs 15 kilograms less, since its aerodynamic elements and hood are made of plastic carbon fiber reinforced with carbon fiber.
The BMW M3 CS Touring station wagon is made according to the same recipe as the M3 CS sedan. Even their engine is common – in -line “six” 3.0 with a return of 550 horsepower and 650 nm of torque. A number of components are borrounded by racing machines, it has improved lubrication, cooling, increased to 2.1 bara pressure of the boost, coupled with the refering the control unit. All this allows you to accelerate to one hundred in 3.5 seconds (3.2 with a one foot out), to 200 – in 11.7 seconds. The maximum speed is limited by electronics 300 kilometers per hour.

The graduation line in the M3 CS Touring is supplemented by electronic control valves and a titanium muffler. How much the sound of the engine will penetrate into the salon depends on the selected traffic mode. Most of all drama is promised in Sport and Sport+, especially when shifting gears. The drive at the station wagon is full, m xdrive, with an active rear differential and the possibility of a complete disconnection of the front axle. The stabilization system, the M Dynamic mode, adaptive suspension, the steering mechanism M Servotronic and brakes have specific settings.
The M3 CS Touring is standardly put by Mompound mechanisms, for the surcharge – ceramic M Carbon with red or golden calipers. The diameter of different -made forged wheels – 19 inches in front, 20 behind. Stock tires can be replaced for free with sports or slides. To reduce the mass, the hood, the front split, the air ducts in the bumper, the mirrors and the rear diffuser are made of CFRP plastic. Vserki petals are made from it. Together with the “buckets” M Carbon, this saves 15 kilograms in comparison with the usual M3 Competition Touring M XDRive.
Standard M3 CS Touring is equipped with the BMW Live Cockpit Professional multimedia at the BMW Operating System 8.5, a projection display, a two-zone climate control, Harman Kardon audio system, and heating seats. Of course, there is also a M Drive Professional system, as on other top Emki. It gives access to the M Drift Analyser function, which evaluates the side sliding, and M Laptimer, which provides detailed data on the passage of the track. In addition, there is an advanced track control with ten levels of intervention.
In general, from the simple M3 Competition Touring M XDRive, the station wagon with the prefix CS is not possible, but it costs 45,700 euros more expensive. If you add a couple of thousand to them, you get the initial 3 Series Touring.
