CATL introduced three innovative batteries

They provide a margin of moves up to 1,500 kilometers, can be charged with a capacity of up to 1.3 megavatts and work at -40 degrees Celsius.

The Chinese company Contemporary Amperex Technology, better known as Catl, presented three new items. The first is called Freevoy Dual Power Battle and is a battery with two active zones: the main and zone of “lengthening” with a self -forming anode. In fact, we have a combination of different types of cells (Sodium-LFP, LFP-LFP and NCM-LFP/NCM-NCM), which makes it possible to increase energy storage density to 1000 W • h/l, without increasing the size of the battery itself. For example, the capacity of the NCM-NCM Dual Power battery is 180 kilowat hours, which are enough for 1,500 kilometers.

The second novelty is the Shenxing (shancin) LFP-accumulator. It can be charged with a capacity of up to 1.3 megavatts, adding 2.5 kilometers to the residual stock of the course every second. Five minutes of charging will provide 520 kilometers, but a fully charged battery is designed for 800. Such batteries also work better at negative temperatures, so at -10 degrees Celsius are charged from 5 to 80% in 15 minutes.

Finally, the third premiere of CATL was the Naxtra sodium-ion battery ready for mass production. It withstands up to 10 thousand reloading cycles, is as safe as possible and capable of working at extremely low temperatures. At -30 degrees sodium-ion battery retains up to 93% of its actual capacity and can maintain a speed of 120 kilometers per hour, even when the charge level drops below 10%, which is unthinkable for ordinary lithium-ion batteries. The release of such current sources will begin in December.
