Chevrolet Corvette will try on a military fighter style design

The tuning studio Mxtrem Automobili announced a new project to turn Chevrolet Corvette into an extreme supercar with a developed body kit stylized for a jet aircraft. He will even have an imitation of jet engines and missiles of missiles, and all parts will be made of carbon fiber. According to Motor1.com, it is planned to build 12 such machines in total, their cost has not yet been declared.

Rockets can be seen on teaser images – they are placed in the front of the car on the bumper and on the stern. Light elements resembling the nozzles of jet engines, as well as vertical stabilizers like that of a fighter, are installed from behind. The classic steering wheel in the cabin is replaced by the helm, red toggle switches are placed on the front panel, and a joystick on the central tunnel, the purpose of which can only be guessed over.

The project was called Maverick, and Mxtrem Automobili literally calls their development “Wheel fighter”. Supercar, which will exist in only 12 copies, is designed primarily for collectors. It is specified that the tuners can take any of the existing Corvette versions at the request of the client-from Stingray and “charged” Z06 to hybrid e-ray.

Meanwhile, there is another, the most powerful Corvette modification called ZR1, for which the V8 engine with the intra -factory designation LT7 was developed. The motor develops 1079 horsepower, and the pair is a modernized eight -speed “robot”.
