Diesel pickup Jac T9 is ready to start sales in Russia

JAC shared the details about the new modification of its flagship pickup and revealed the terms of its appearance on the market – the novelty will come to dealers this summer. Gamma T9 is replenished with a version with a two -liter diesel engine with a capacity of 170 horsepower and 420 nm of torque. The pickup, equipped with just such an engine, previously broke the speed record during the off -road tests at the Gerotek training ground: in 24 hours it overcame 4084 kilometers with an average speed of 170.1 kilometers per hour.

T9 is popular in the Russian market: the model remains in the leaders in its segment. In order to strengthen positions, the JAC will expand the gamut of a diesel version with a two -liter engine by 170 forces. Available version of the model with a mechanical gearbox is also waiting in Russia.

Today it is the most expensive and richly equipped pickup in the brand line. It is frame, the length is a little more than 5.3 meters. Until now, the modification of the model had only one, with a two -liter gasoline turbo engine with a capacity of 224 horsepower, which is paired with an eight -band automatic. The drive is full, with the connected front axle.

Earlier it also became known that the production of the T9 model is localized in Russia – the assembly at one of the local factories (which, is not specified) will be launched in the summer. As of the beginning of June, the model can be bought at a price of 3,599,000 rubles.
