Electric Geely EX5 will have a version with an increased march margin

The crossover is already sold in Russia, and last week it became known about the launch of its production at the Beldzhi Belarusian plant. Meanwhile, in China, a new version is being prepared for entering the market (there EX5 bears the name Galaxy E5) – with a larger battery. According to Carnewschina, the course of the “long -range” version is 610 kilometers – 80 kilometers more than that of the actual EX5.

In China, the Geely EX5/Galaxy E5 is currently presented in two modifications. In both cases, the crossover drives an electric motor on the front axle, which develops 218 horsepower, while the “younger” version is laid by a battery with a capacity of 49.52 kilowatt hours, and top-end-60.22 kilowatt hours. The margin is 430 and 530 kilometers, respectively.

The Carnewschina website discovered certification documents for the third version in the database of the Chinese Ministry of Industry, which has not yet been on sale-from 68.39-kilowatt battery and up to 610 kilometers. Otherwise, the novelty is almost no different from existing options: it has a similar exterior and interior design and all the same 218-horsepower electric motor in front. Differences are reduced to the black edging of the windows. The equipment list includes a panoramic hatch and 18 or 19-inch wheels.

To date, the Geely EX5/Galaxy E5 costs in China from 107,800 to 143 800 yuan (1.18–1.57 million rubles at the rate of today). In Russia, the model, which is officially supplied to us with a complete guarantee of the automaker, estimated at 4 099 990-4 399 990 rubles without discounts and 3,749,990-4,049,990 rubles with them. In the Russian market, EX5 is presented in two trim levels and in one modification with a battery for 60.2 kilowat-hours (a stroke of 430 kilometers).

The Geely EX5 debuted in Russia in mid-March, and already in April got into the top 5 of the most popular electric cars in the country. Sales of the model in the second spring month amounted to 57 pieces-less than Zeekr 001, Evolute I-Pro and Moskvich 3e, but more than Avatr 11.
